Name of cat breeds

Cymric
= Manx Longhair to emphasize its origin in Wales.

Celtic Shorthair
In some organizations the European Shorthair is called Celtic Shorthair to emphasize its origin.

Highlander
In Europe it is the British Longhair, in some organizations also called Brittanica. In the USA it is the Highland (Lynx) cat - a bobtailed cat with curled ears.

Highland Fold
= Scottish Fold Longhair.

Javanese
This breed name is ambigiously in use. In CFA all Balinese, which do not have one of the 4 basic colors, are called Javanese. In other organisations the Javanese is the Oriental Longhair without points.

Is the Kurilian Bobtail related to the Japanese Bobtail or to the Manx?
No. The Kurilian Bobtail is a natural breed from the Kurilian Islands.
Genetically these 3 breeds are different.
The tail of the Kurilian Bobtail is inherited incomplete dominant, that means the tail varies in length and number of angles/kinks. Only 1 parent must carry the gene for the Kurilian bobtail.
The tail of the Japanese Bobtail is inherited recessive, that means, both parents must cary the gene for the Japanese bobtail.
The tailessness of the Manx is inherited dominant. Homozygous kittens die prenatal, which is called a lethal factor. Thus, all Manx are heterozygous.
Thinking logically, breeders of these breeds cannot have any interest to cross-breed between these breeds, because they will loose the unique feature of their breed.

Mandarin
= Oriental Longhair

Seychellois
In some organizations Siamese/Balinese with white are called Seychellois.
